New Yandelora School Staff Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander shirt on Display
11 Aug 2020
You may have noticed staff wearing our new Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander inspired school staff shirts. In consultation with the Narellan AECG, Yandelora staff worked with Sean Mitchell from Dreamtime designs to create a staff shirt authentic to our school culture.
Our shirts designed by Aboriginal Artist Jason Douglas from the Murri-Kubi-Kubi Mob, depict our 5C’s, connect, create, courage, celebrate and community.
The design strongly represents the meaning of Yandelora, ‘Meeting Place’ and was designed with our school colours in mind. The title of the Artwork is Mirrung- Belonging-connection’.
What do you think? We love them!
