Dear Parents and Carers,
We are in difficult and unprecedented times!
You would have heard today the Premier has requested that schools are kept open, however teaching and learning will look somewhat different. Parents are strongly encouraged to keep their children at home unless the child’s parent or carer are employed in the essential services such the health and education sectors.
Today the schools executive have planned for learning at home. Each family will have access to a learning package which includes links to online learning as well as hard copies of activities . Teachers will continue to add to suite of resources as they deliver learning in a variety different ways for our students.
Many of our staff will be required to work from home, due to their own increased risk and we ask for your patience as we explore our options to provide quality learning for our students in a range of different ways.
Please make sure you have downloaded the SeeSaw App and SkoolBag. We will be using the SeeSaw app to share learning activities with students and their families. SkoolBag, the schools Facebook page and the schools website will be great places for keeping up to date with news from school. From Tuesday packages will be available from school, if you require it to be delivered please let us know and we can arrange this.
We really are travelling unchartered waters. We thank you for your support and look to continue working with you to minimise disruptions to students learning opportunities.
