Yandelora School is a new purpose built, state of the art, School for Specific Purpose that caters for students with moderate to severe intellectual and physical disabilities.

The school is focused on delivering a quality education for its students helping them gain independence in school and beyond. The staff at Yandelora have a culture of inclusivity promoting the dignity and wellbeing of all students and their families and are strong advocates for the education of students with disabilities.

Yandelora is a place where our students, connect to each other, the land and the community. Demonstrate courage in learning, confidence in risk taking and grow into valued members of the community who are caring and compassionate..

On Thursday the 25th of April students from Yandelora School will be have the opportunity to march with their school in the regional Camden ANZAC Day march. We would like to invite our Yandelora students and families to participate in the Camden RSL Sub-branch ANZAC Day March.\ We will meet in Elizabeth Street at 10.00am, in preparation to march at 10.30am. We ask that students proudly wear their Yandelora school uniform. We will march down Argyle Street and conclude at the Bicentennial Equestrian Park on Cawdor Road. Looking forward to seeing you there!

To celebrate all the awesome mothers, grandmothers and special people in student's lives our High School Hospitality team will be hosting a morning tea at Yandelora School. More information will be sent closer on the day, however if you would like to register you interest please use the RSVP form to let us know.

National Sorry Day is officially held on Sunday the 26th of May. To recognise the importance of day Yandelora School will be hosting events on Friday the 24th of May that is focus on Aboriginal and Torress Strait Islander education and how our students have a connection with first nations people and their cultures. On Tuesday the 19th of March students from Class Blue Tongues attended Camden Show to extend their knowledge of agricultural methods they had been discussing in class.

Students had hands on experiences with animals and equipment related to farming and produce creation. In addition they met a diverse range of community members and represented their school with pride and respect.

Students had an amazing experience and we look forward to next year when we can send more of our students to the event.
