Yandelora School is a new purpose built, state of the art, School for Specific Purpose that caters for students with moderate to severe intellectual and physical disabilities.

The school is focused on delivering a quality education for its students helping them gain independence in school and beyond. The staff at Yandelora have a culture of inclusivity promoting the dignity and wellbeing of all students and their families and are strong advocates for the education of students with disabilities.

Yandelora is a place where our students, connect to each other, the land and the community. Demonstrate courage in learning, confidence in risk taking and grow into valued members of the community who are caring and compassionate..

School Swimming Program K-6

Date: 22 July-02 August
Time: All day
Location: Yandelora School Pool

Selected students from K-6 will be participating in daily lessons supported by the Department School Swimming and Safety program in weeks 1 and 2 in Term 3. During this time normal block swimming will be suspended and resume in week 3. Please keep an eye out for more information from your teacher if your child is selected to be involved in the program. More information to follow

NAIDOC Week - 23rd to 26th of July

In 2024 NAIDOC week is going to held within the school holidays. However to recognise NAIDOC week we are intending to host a variety of activities at school between Monday the 23rd of July and Friday the 26th of July. Keep an eye out closer to the date for more information on how you can be involved.

On Tuesday the 19th of March students from Class Blue Tongues attended Camden Show to extend their knowledge of agricultural methods they had been discussing in class.

Students had hands on experiences with animals and equipment related to farming and produce creation. In addition they met a diverse range of community members and represented their school with pride and respect.

Students had an amazing experience and we look forward to next year when we can send more of our students to the event.
