Getting to and from school safely

As a parent or carer, it’s your responsibility to get your child to and from school safely. Student safety is our priority.

Our school has two entrances for parents to drop off kids in the mornings (8:30am - 8:45am) and in the afternoon (2:30 - 3:00pm). These are located at from the staff carpark from Wilson Crescent and Richardson Road which both have wheelchair access.

Our parents are welcome to use our circular drive located from the Wilson Crescent entrance. Please note during bus loading and unloading times there is some delays in using this option.

Parent drop-offs and pick-ups
  • All student drop off and pickup will occur in the school promenade directly after both school entrances
  • Please ensure you are prompt when picking up you children from the school. If you feel you may be late please let the school office know.
  • Due to the carpark being  shared space with another business next door car spaces are limited. Please limit your time on the school grounds unless aboslutely necessary.
  • Please observe all traffic signs and posted speeds. Please be aware that the carpark is 5kph speed zone. Be mindful of students and parents filtering through our carpark
  • In the instance that rain occurs parents are permitted to use the circular drive along with assited school buses. Please be aware this can result in significant delays which are unavoidable.

For parents and carers of younger children

Also talk about and practise:

Subsidised school travel

Transport for NSW provides subsidies to assist school students.

  • The School Student Transport Scheme provides eligible students with free or subsidised travel on public transport between home and school.
  • The School Drive Subsidy may help towards the costs of driving children to school if you live in an area where there is no public transport.
