Education Week Picnic Day 2023

Next week we celebrate our achievements throughout the NSW public education system

and the significant contribution public education has made to society over the past 175

years.

Parents and families are invited to attend a picnic day at Yandelora School to celebrate

Education Week. Everyone will be encouraged to come into their child’s classroom to see

where the magic happens then head out to their assigned picnic area to sit and eat lunch

with students and staff.

Date: Tuesday 1st August 2023

Time: 10am to 11:30am

Cost: Nil

Please bring: Lunch for your family and your child, a rug to sit on or picnic chairs if required.

On the day: Parents and families arrive and walk down to the correct block. Families

participate in a learning activity with their child. Each block, students, staff and families,

moves to their assigned picnic area and sits together to eat lunch, listen to music and play

together. Our picnic concludes at 11.30 and families leave Yandelora School.

This event is a wonderful opportunity to come together to celebrate the successes of each

of our amazing students and build the education partnership between families and school.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the picnic.
